This article is part of our guide to fixing Google Data Studio reports.

You may find this error message when clicking on See details on your Data Studio charts:

"Your license has expired please go to https://account.portermetrics.com/ to renew it."

It means that your Porter Metrics license expired; you should renew your plan to re-activate your charts.

This happens because a) your 14-day free trial expired or b) your paid plan expired and you need to buy again.

If the second happens, we encourage you to set auto-renewal, so Porter can charge your credit card automatically every month. You can cancel at any time just by asking by email or chat.

However, you may have paid your plan and this message still exists.

Chances are that those charts are connected from a user whose Google email is not the same that was used to pay.

For instance, I create a report on Data Studio with my email juanjose@portermetrics.com.

I allow other users with their respective emails to edit their reports and connect their data within the same report.

If I upgrade my plan, my charts will keep working, but the charts from other users will display such errors.

You can request our support team via chat to add those users' emails to your paid plan so all of them share your license.
