Facebook reports errors on March 21, 2023: troubleshooting guide

Service should be restored in a few hours. Please read this guide to troubleshoot this issue.

At this moment, most reports connected to Facebook products may be showing “missing permissions” or “No data” error messages.

Occasionally, Facebook wrongly blocks 3rd party apps like Porter because it, allegedly, detects an error or a bad practice, just like it does with some ad accounts.

So far, we follow all their suggested practices. We have experienced this in the past; we expect Facebook restores our service within about 6 hours.

Here’s what you can do to get your reports working in the meantime:

  1. We suggest you avoid requesting “today’s” or recent data as it might not be updated.

  2. We encourage you to report data until “yesterday” or prior time to report historical data available that we have previously stored.

  3. At this moment, we don’t store data from “unique” fields like reach and custom conversions, so we encourage you to temporarily remove those metrics from your reports until the service is restored.

We’ve worked very hard during the latest months to ensure the speed, accuracy, and stability of our marketing integrations.

We do apologize you might be experiencing an issue with your reports. While Facebook actions are outside our control, we can still do things to mitigate these risks.

Hopefully, these suggestions will help, and don’t hesitate to reach out to our team whenever you need help.

We'll be constantly updating this guide as soon as we have new information. You can also reach out directly to our founders for help.
