You are trying to create a report in Looker Studio when suddenly nothing happens.
You can't see any data, and it's not because it's empty: the chart is there but there's no data.
You check your queries and can't find anything wrong with them either... Everything seems to work fine except this table which doesn't work.
And says "Hold on, wait for a few minutes to create new charts. You surpassed Facebook’s API limit (600 requests per 5 minutes). We love creating reports. too. It’s not you, it’s Facebook."
This happens because most of the platform APIs usually have a data request limit in a certain period of time, which in this case is 5 minutes.
It's like a relationship between the changes you make and the time between each change.
If you change something this change equals to multiple requests, so, if you make many changes your charts will probably throw this error.
Let's say in 5 minutes you requested three different date ranges, create 3 tables and 2 pie charts because you are very skillful with Looker Studio, in this example the report will probably break due to requesting a large amount of data in a short time frame.
What can you do?
This is really unfortunate because you can't do anything about it. The only thing you can do is wait and hope that the API will load your data at some point.
