Porter's connectors query source APIs directly, so your data is always fresh. How often you see new data depends on which destination you're using and which connector type you have.

Porter's connectors for paid media, social, and analytics query the source API in real-time on every request. This includes:
Paid media: Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest Ads, Reddit Ads, X Ads, Apple Ads, Google DV360
Social: Instagram Insights, Facebook Insights, TikTok Insights, LinkedIn Pages, Facebook Public Data, Instagram Public Data
Analytics & SEO: Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Google Business Profile
Note about Looker Studio: Looker Studio is a visualization layer — it has its own cache setting (12 hours by default) that controls how often it re-renders your charts. This is a Google setting, not Porter's. Porter's connector is still real-time; you can force a refresh anytime by clicking the refresh icon in Looker Studio, or by adjusting the freshness setting on the data source.
Ecommerce & CRM — every 12 hours
Shopify, Amazon Seller, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and ActiveCampaign refresh every 12 hours. This limit comes from the platforms' own API rate limits — Porter cannot fetch faster without exceeding them. If your data hasn't updated after 12 hours, contact support.
