Here's how to make your 1st Facebook Insights report on Google Data Studio with Porter in 3 steps.
Authorize your Google account
After accessing the Facebook Insights connector, authorize your Google account on Data Studio.
Click Authorize.
Then select the account you will use in Google Data Studio:
Click Allow.
Authorize your Facebook Profile
Once you authorize with Google, you should also authorize with Facebook.
Then, you should log in with a Facebook profile with access to the pages you will report:
Use your login code if asked and click the Continue button:
Select all the accounts to be accessible from the connector:
Make sure everything is checked in YES and click the Done button:
Click the OK button:
You should have an admin and editor role to connect the Facebook pages.
Porter Metrics only stores your account and Facebook profile to manage your subscriptions; we don’t store or share your business data with any third party.

Note: if mistakenly logged in with an incorrect account, you can disconnect your Facebook account and restart the process described before.
Once you connect your Facebook profile, you should set up the connection with these parameters:
Page ID: choose one or more Facebook Pages to bring to your report.
If you choose several accounts, the report will combine their data (i.e., it will bring the total likes from all the selected pages).
After you finish the setup, click the Connect button in the top-right corner of the page.
3) Load your report
You’ll see a list of the Facebook Insights connector's fields to Data Studio, then go to Create Report in the top-right corner of the page:
Finally, confirm the creation of your report on Create report.
