How to upgrade, renew, downgrade, or cancel my Porter plan

This guide will walk you through upgrading, downgrading, renewing, or canceling your Porter subscription.

Once you subscribe to Porter Metrics lots of things may change: you could need more accounts, or fit in a smaller plan.

This is how our plans are designed:

How to upgrade?

You can add as many connections as you need to your Porter account .

To request an upgrade, reach out to us via our website chat or email us at support@portermetrics.com.

Mention the new plan you want to subscribe to —or the number of connections you need —and the email associated with your Porter account.

Upgrading immediately

In this case, you’ll get a link with the equivalent amount to pay for the days remaining until the next billing cycle. Then you'd have to pay the full price.

E.g. If you have a “Teams” plan with 5 connections, but you want to move to an “Agency” plan with 20 connections.

You’ve already paid (USD 30/mo) on the 1st of May, and, if you decide to upgrade on May 15tth, you’d be requested to pay USD 25; that’s the equivalent of USD 40 for 15 remaining days for the new plan minus USD 15 you’ve already paid for the initial one.

On the 1st of June, you’d pay (USD80/mo).

Upgrading for the next billing cycle

If you disabled automatic billing when buying your Porter plan, you can opt to wait until your plan expires to buy a new one.

Just leave us a message, with the new plan you want via our website chat (link) or email us at support@portermetrics.com.

Mention the new plan you want to join, and the email associated with your Porter account.

How to downgrade my plan?

You might be paying more connections than you require.

To downgrade, reach out to us via our website chat (link) or email us at support@portermetrics.com.

Mention the number of connections you want to add, and the email associated with your Porter account.

Your downgraded plan will be reflected in the next billing cycle.

Once you downgrade your plan with the link we’ll send you over, your plan will remain the same until you reach your billing cycle.

For instance, you have a Teams plan (USD 30/mo) and want to switch to a Solo plan (USD15/mo), and your plan renews every 5th of each month.

Until the next 5th, you will keep 5 accounts available, After that, you will only have one (1) account and pay (USD15/mo).

How to cancel my subscription?

Go to your Porter account.

Log in with your email.

Make sure you use the same email address that you used to process the payment, or you won't find the payment license and just the trial ones.

Click on the 👤 emoji on the left-down corner.

Click on Billing.

Click on the paper bin 🗑️, for the license you want to cancel.

We want to be sure you want to cancel, then click again on the Cancel plan.

We'd love your feedback, please select the reason why canceling your plan.

After you click one option, You'll visualize the brief about your plan and renew it every time that you want it.

How to renew my subscription?

Go to your Porter account.

Log in with your account,

Make sure you use the same email address that you used to process the payment, or you won't find the payment license and just the trial ones.

Click on the 👤 emoji on the left-down corner.

Click on Billing.

You will visualize the brief about your last plan, If you click Renew plan you'll have back all your connections. Just refresh the reports.
